Honesty Over Deceit

In life, we all need to be honest in everything we do. Credit needs to be given to those who deserve it. When writing a paper, the sources should always be cited. One should never take ownership of someone elses information or work. This also means, if someone else is plagarizing, then you should report it. That is part of being honest. Let's say for instance, a child doesn't understand the questions to their science homework. This child then gets all the answers from their friend. Both of the children are not providing academic integrity. The childs friend should have offered assistance with the homework instead of letting his/her friend cheat. The child will not learn if he/she is cheating.

Reaching success in life will give you a feeling of accomplishment, knowing you earned it. Being honest in every perspective will get you further in life than being dishonest. This needs to be taught to every generation. Society will be a great place if it is full of honest people.
